Dream Theory (10/14/01)

> Dream of July 23, 2001 -- I see window sills in various houses I've
> lived in -- I'm looking out the windows. Someone tells me a dream theory
> -- also a feeling about dream theory -- imparting a lot of knowledge at
> one time. Dreams are a type of "nostalgia for life" such as experienced
> by those contemplating suicide or a fatal disease (know how long they have
> to live) -- the commonly felt nostalgia for the past -- that strikes a
> person at a beloved place that has been torn down or old friends he hasn't
> seen for many years that have changed -- or just looking in the mirror and
> wondering where youthful looks went. A coworker told me a dream about
> pushing her grandmother and mother before her in wheelchairs and the
> horror of them sinking into the mud.
> Dreams similarly are the nostalgia of the unconscious -- which knows
> when in the future death will occur and throws dreams before it;
> foreshadowing. One dream, I was being carried into a metal mausoleum type
> building on a stretcher, by a group of women and children. I got off the
> stretcher to walk on my own feet (die with my boots on) and reached around
> behind me to drag my shadow in front of me. It was on the order of a wrap
> garment (my first sewing project was a red wrap-around skirt made of the
> red cloth used to make warning flags at the National Guard where Dad
> worked -- that Gram May used to make her red and white quilts) or a
> do-it-yourself strait jacket; it was the way of understanding where I was
> going in the dream, by my shadow or possibly where I had been -- and was a
> means of locomotion, which is very tiring in dreams, like walking through
> glue. As dreamers we are usually unaware of how close we have approached
> to the date of our death, but FEEL the nostalgia of dreams -- often
> revisiting houses (but rarely an old apartment) we've lived in (most often
> from childhood, though occasionally I seem to check in on houses from my
> adult years, and the new occupants once said, "is there someone here?")
> Dreams can be roughly dated even if the notebooks aren't, by the
> people and jobs dreamed about. If you change jobs a lot (every year or
> so) you will notice that dreams have a lag before catching up to the new
> situation in waking life. Physical proximity may also have some influence
> -- I was still dreaming about high school for 7-8 years after graduating,
> while I lived nearby and regularly visited my home town -- and for over a
> year after moving from Iowa to California. As my dream of late 1976, just
> before leaving Iowa stated -- "a man compliments my dreams, says, you have
> to die to get really good ones."
> The dream is the carrot that pulls you up from the abyss in dreams
> while at the same time it IS the abyss -- the unconscious. This is
> literally true in dreams where you think you've walked down a small hill
> and then have to drag yourself back up a vertical slope like the Grand
> Canyon -- reminiscent of the crack in the earth that man is supposed to
> have crawled out of in some ancient myths, with farmers far below on
> terraces. In one dream I was driving a bus (buses traditionally mean
> death, there is a short story about it in high school literature books --
> a bus or train in an alley) and it ended up at a crack in the earth where
> it began to descend, but the earth in the crack caved in and prevented it
> -- or we passengers were kicking the dirt into the hole with our feet.
> Gram May told me a dream she had in her 70s about walking across a
> graveyard and a hole in the ground and she fought her way out. She took
> nitroglycerine, doctor told her she had hardening of the arteries -- but
> died years later after having both feet amputated and hands then turning
> black. She and Gram Alice (in bed for years, 75 pounds, after breaking a
> hip) told me in a dream they wanted to call their doctors and give them a
> piece of their minds (blow a whistle into the receiver to get their
> attention). Alice was being carried up the steps (to what was to me a
> cold, windy penthouse -- though the sky was blue and sunny outside the
> windows) by a muscular male nurse and Mom chuckled and said, "that's
> Gram," when I described the dream to her.
> The scene the dreamer experiences is a composite of places, times,
> people, emotions -- you've had or read about -- or will see, even just on
> TV, the next day. The unconscious may sort by similarity, to make
> intricately layered (one dream had layers in the sky like dead leaves
> floating under the surface of a lake or puddle on the ground) composite
> scenes or people. Perhaps people in dreams look like they did in a
> previous life or a different age, often younger and maybe they even
> continue to age in dreams. The shell of conscious life is pretense,
> denial, tradition, and especially survival. The unconscious doesn't need
> work, food, money, shelter, sex. It does feel an overwhelming terrible
> loneliness, claustrophobia, vast tiring distances to walk and menacing
> powerful energies.
> Perhaps the scenes the dreamer revisits many times over the years
> get more and more energy or perhaps they are just significant "power"
> spots. The creek at the base of a very steep glacial hill where I played
> as a child is an example. At a family reunion, a boy tried to run up the
> vertical bare dirt hillside and fell and was knocked unconscious. The
> creek flooded in heavy spring rainfalls and mysterious eight inch long
> pastel green fish that no one recognized and were afraid to eat were
> stranded on the banks after the water went back down; lightning struck a
> tree on the hillside about 100 yards away, getting off the school bus, and
> the loud noise of the thunder almost knocked us off our feet; while
> playing under the bridge I boisterously threw a piece of ice and hit the
> bottom of the bridge just as a car passed overhead and thought the bridge
> was falling down. The bridge WAS falling down and the county had to
> replace it with a new bridge. I also got the urge as a kid to make mud
> bricks from the clay where the kid fell and hit his head--the grass never
> grew in that caved off part. Once I pooped/dragged out with my
> fingernails -- with great difficulty some pink fleshy feeling thing from
> my rectum under the tree in that same area. Then the dreams were --
> meeting a hoofed, hairy legged, nervous goat-like creature (Pan -- but my
> mother is also a Capricorn -- goat or Devil in Tarot) on the bridge and
> falling down and grasping his calves; climbing the tree and a menacing
> energy creature, a bull grabbing my calves (I could feel hands, not
> hooves); and sitting on the ground by the creek with a man who turned into
> a little boy sitting on my lap and then suddenly I was 100 feet in the
> air, then much higher on the back of a bird with fixed stiff wings. It
> seemed to have hair or very soft feathers and when I grabbed hold of it's
> neck -- leathery ears. I became aware of how thin it was concentrating on
> different parts of its body and had difficulty not losing my balance until
> I thought about how it was a dream and tried ignoring the details of the
> bony ribs of the bird. That's three dreams (one in the 70's and two
> recently in 2000) of significant outside energy coming into my dream --
> all taking place at the same spot.

> The civilian companies for Remote Viewing that have sprung up since
> the Govt agency closed in 1993, say that the problem is analytic overlays
> -- when you try to interpret the glimpse you get in remote viewing. Who
> would guess that a view of no milk for babies would mean mad cow and hoof
> and mouth disease? I think Sean David Morton is right about JFK, Jr and
> also Di meeting foul play -- because I dreamed that the JFK car/plane was
> rammed and dragged by a shadowy bull and a red bull was down by the
> highway (JFK was a redhead) -- or red cow having a calf. Also, Di --
> something flew into my windshield the day after she was killed -- and I
> wasn't even dreaming! I was really driving on 147th street, near the
> Lawndale City Hall. Now I know human egg cells look like spiked maces,
> though. So maybe my dreams just meant that both incidents involved
> pregnancies. Now he thinks Tim McVeigh's death was faked -- with puffer
> fish poison. I wonder if that ever wears off -- or if you're paralyzed
> and only you know if you are still alive. I had to close my eyes when I
> got an operation -- and count backwards from 100.
>
> Ingo Swann was the original Remote Viewer. I already read
> Penetration which was supposed to be about human and extraterrestrial
> telepathy. He was shot at (raked the forest) by what he thought was a UFO
> motion detector that sensed a deer or rabbit or mountain lion moving in
> the forest. He also saw the two Marine guards and a mysterious woman in
> the grocery store and fled. He has a new book about societal power --
> more powerful than individual or even groups of individual's power and
> also a sex energy book. Coincidentally, at a Friends of the Library sale
> I found an Analog magazine for July 1980 (about the date the Stanford
> Research Institute (SRI) remote viewing experiment began) that has a Sci
> Fi story, Dreamsenders -- in which a private eye contacts people through
> their (recent) pictures and enters their dreams and gives them messages
> and can also to a lesser extent ask them questions -- and observes their
> dream images to find their location and activities. He ends up
> communicating through the dream of an alien woman 50 light years away to
> try to find out their intent (having seen a dead alien for the "picture"
> to focus on.)
>
> The Art of Dreaming by Carlos Casteneda -- may have been his last
> book -- was about the last time he saw don Juan Mateus -- his teacher for
> 13 years. He also saw a mysterious woman in a church in an unnamed
> (home)town he'd visited several times, in southern Mexico. Two comments
> about the woman were that she was the "death defier" and that women are
> not menaced by the non-organic beings you meet in dreams because the
> universe is female (we are all female to God in religious teachings). She
> (was male then) had been imprisoned somehow by being trapped in a dream by
> inorganic beings, and had escaped by projecting the image of being female
> and was "spit out" -- and then was female (she shoved Casteneda's hand in
> her crotch to prove it; shamans in many cultures dress as women to
> facilitate their power). It sounds sort of like the Lucifer story --
> chained angels. He also attempted to rescue a blue 'scout' non-organic
> energy being that looked like a little girl ("abducted by fairies"?) that
> was in a group of gray beings of bubble shape. I dreamed about one blue
> bird in a flock of birds. There is also a picture of Catherine Graham in
> the 7/30/01 Newsweek -- standing out in a blue dress as the only woman at
> a table with othewise men in gray suits (table filled on three sides).
>
> Casteneda's non-organic beings/sizzling energy sound like the
> "bulls" or occasionally the "FBI" in my dreams. In one dream the FBI was
> shooting right through the house. Or hunters -- after eating New Zealand
> venison, it was the first day of hunting season and the bullets were
> flying through the house like a prospector's shack in the desert or Billy
> the Kid. A lot of outlaws hid out in the Midwest, there was even one
> named Homer Van Meter just like my hometown. In a Puss-N-Boots type dream
> -- playing cat and mouse with the recurring bull dream character (which
> just requires that you don't get scared -- where are you going to run from
> a bull?), after it got its horn stuck in a crack -- turned into an FBI
> agent type questioning me about Tarot. I found out the card -- 7 of
> swords, can mean "past mistakes". I thought maybe it was a ghost because
> of that young guy hanging himself in the Los Angeles jail on Valentines
> day 2001, after stabbing the 66 year old Mormon woman to death at the

> Memory can be tricky -- but to the best of my recall -- I think Mom said,
> "you're not starting that again" when I saw him (I had an imaginary friend
> named Ralph until I was 4-5) -- it must have been '68 if she was there --
> but I might have been picturing his lip when I was telling her about it
> later -- but I have a picture of her under the tree and Ralph came up to
> me as soon as I got out of the car at Birdland/Riverside park in Des

> I wonder if Carlos Casteneda fell in love with the woman in his

> The Art of Spiritual Dreaming (Ekankar) by
> states that nightmares are caused by other people coming into your dream

> violence), especially in childhood nightmares. In dreams what you fear
> will happen does seem to happen -- which seems to illustrate the self-help
> instructions not to negatively program your subconscious for failure of

> up screaming in horror in an empty warehouse". Who knows if a life of
> petty aggrevations also leads to the same end... Sensory deprivation

History on Cattle/Bulls
> Apr 26th 2001 From The Economist print edition Ancestors of Cattle.
> There are only three branches of cattle (besides extinct aurachs) --
> taurus (Middle East), zebu (India), and in Africa the cattle have the
> mitochondria of taurus (females) and the nucleus of zebu (male).
> Mitochondria is easier to study from fossils. That is because each cell
> has many mitochondria. They are the cellular components that release
> energy from glucose, and they have their own DNA because they were, in the
> distant evolutionary past, free-living bacteria. By contrast, a cell has
> but a single nucleus. There are only three branches of cattle (besides
> extinct aurachs) -- taurus (Middle East), zebu (India), and in Africa the
> cattle have the mitochondria of taurus (females) and the nucleus of zebu
> (male).
> Cattle are not the only animals to have been domesticated on more than one
> occasion. Mitochondrial DNA suggests that goats,
> sheep, pigs, yaks and buffalo were each domesticated at least twice. Dogs
> were domesticated at least four times. And the
> mitochondrial tree for horses is so tangled that it is impossible to say
> exactly how many times people first slung themselves into the saddle.
> That is intriguing for two reasons. First, it suggests that lots of people
> had the idea of domesticating animals independently, rather than the
> process being tried out only once for each species. Second, it adds
> weight to the idea that the reason such a limited number of animals has
> been domesticated is not because people stopped when they felt they had

4 AM I
dream I'm walking around the bedroom but I don't look to see if my body is
still in bed, so I don't become lucid in the dream. [I have strained
muscles from walking up a lot of stairs at the beach to pick grass for the
rabbits and in the dream I got up to put menthol on it, but my body didn't
get up -- I guess I was out of body.] In the dream I can hear it is raining
outside the window and I hear someone saying they might have to drive to
Detroit tomorrow and the Interstate is closed. [Seems like I can hear real
people talking around 5 AM when they start to wake up?] "We may have to go
tomorrow."... Man with magnet (erasing?) phone messages. "The children found
in bed in pain are usually mine." List of things, "definite lack of
interest."... Medical experiment where two boys tread water until one dies.

(just reading about lucid dreams will make you have one -- but people that
want to have them all the time (email group) are using machines like
flashing lights in sleep masks and try different drugs -- they said caffeine
is the best one for lucid dreams. Keeps you awake in your dream I guess.
Melatonin gave some nightmares. You have to test the dream images to see if you control them. Tibetan -- dreams prepare you for the condition after death, only difference, you won't be able to wake up then.

Two other dream sites mention dream food: Australian girl's site - her chicken is raw in her sandwich at a fast food place. Scottdream about eating bologna and roast beef that expired in 1993 and 1998 and was sick just typing it -- and some eating dreams of mine too (corresponds to Persephone myth and fairy wisdom not to eat anything in the world of the dead or fairies or you will be trapped there forever?). In one dream I ate some candy from the lower case where I had to crouch to see it, and I got nausea. THEN I went to Manhattan Beach, saw a candy store, and they had some fancier diabetic candy than I'd ever seen anywhere else ON THE BOTTOM

SHELF and I had to crouch to see it. I should have been warned, but ate some and found out I'm allergic to diabetic candy and had severe nausea for several days. Other food dreams though, were some chips that tasted like sour cardboard, some fish that tasted raw -- white, thick pieces, and the first one I remember was some cake my two dead great-grandmothers I was visiting in a penthouse gave me that was gummy like rotting flesh. I was sick for a few days that time too. My theory now is sort of that this is the origin of Zombie stories -- zombies eat dead flesh and maybe that is the only food dead people have to offer you -- one of my Great Grandmothers always baked cakes.

Size distortion in dreams: I dreamed about bulls in a watch face (looked like a bullring) after having scary dreams. Also a horse that was knee high, in the house, but then it became full size when I was afraid it would. Ceiling bulged down and broke spilling snow on us below -- had something to do with bison in the house! The dream of 8/7/01 and 2/7/00 about some animals piled up that looked like elephant skin or hairless rodents -- may be as Stephan Schwartz, remote viewer said of Swann/Stern early remote viewing experiments -- "human consciousness has affected sleeping mice, potatoes, plants..."

. It is a will in reverse I'm working on -- for guaranteeing in the next life, a contract. Heyokas in Indian culture do things "backwards" -- wear clothes backwards, walk backwards.

Tibetan Book of the Dead
Again, in the 'Bardo' it says, 'The common people call this the state wherein the consciousness principle (object knowing principle) hath fainted away.' These teachings declare that if we cannot hold onto this condition, we drop into the next level, which is experiencing the effect of the Clear Light. If this is not possible to maintain, we drop into our karmic matrix. If this is not maintained, we become lost in images and 'dreams' arising from the karma we have gathered, i.e. our loves, hates, fears, and aspirations. This means we are back in the nightmare situation.

'When through illusion,' says the Bardo, 'I and others are wandering in the false images, Along the bright light-path of undistracted listening, reflection and meditation, May the Gurus of the Inspired Line lead us:

May the etherical elements not rise up as enemies; May the watery elements not rise up as enemies; May the earthy elements not rise up as enemies; May the fiery elements not rise up as enemies; May the airy elements not rise up as enemies; May the elements of the rainbow colours not rise up as enemies;

May it come that all the sounds in the death state be known as one's own sounds;
May it come that all the Radiances will be known as one's own radiances;
May it come that the Clear Light will be realised in the state of death.'

I dreamed many years ago in my 20's that I saw the three faced goddess -- and then I felt my own head and I had two faces, one on each side, and when I felt the back of my head, I had another face back there! At the time I was very embarrassed and didn't want anyone to see and covered the faces up with my hair even though they were quite beautiful. It took many years for me to believe in the gods/goddesses, and a meeting with Pan (he is not the Devil and in fact does not even cause Panic! as I embraced his hairy calves and other than his unsteady gait -- he seems to fidget -- he was quite calm and just stood there) that the Gods are indeed still alive! For others, who like me have studied Classical Hebrew/only three semesters for me (but I have a better understanding of the vocabulary) -- elohim is plural form of God and is used in the Old Testament.

*******************************************************************************************************
Here is a background of Pan and Hecate from Artemidorus (Greek dream interpretation book written about 200 AD, and like almost all dream books, derived from earlier Sumerian books. Though today at a dream group I read about a set of 175 CDs with a rare Chinese dream book of which there are only 3 copies remaining.

The terrestrial gods3 mean good luck for the poor. [Among the terrestrial gods, those who can be perceived by the senses are Hecate (goddess of magic and spells,
N. Ed.) Pan (a fertility deity, the god of flocks and herds,

The chthonic
(underworld, N. Ed.) deities4 are, for the most part, auspicious only for farmers and for those who are trying to hide;

37. The gods who can be perceived by the senses signify fears, dangers, and crises.108 For even when one encounters them
during the day, they are the cause of such things Regardless of the form that she takes, Hecate always moves the dreamer from
his present circumstances and does not permit him to remain there. But if the goddess moves or if she meets a man face to
face, the dream fulfillments are determined by her form, her aspect, and her sphere of influence.

But it is sinful and dangerous to speak about these things. My explanation is clear enough to those who have been initiated into the
mysteries of the goddess; the laity must consult the initiate.

Pan (god of cattle herds, thus also wealth, N. Ed.) is auspicious for all shepherds because he is the god of flocks and for
hunters because he is the god of the wild. But for other men, he signifies confusion and tumult. He also signifies that the things in
which a person takes pride will not remain secure. For the god has a very uncertain gait. Some men say that he is good for
Dionysiac (theatrical) performers.

Ephialtes (Nightmare, Incubus, N. Ed.) is identified with Pan (god of cattle herds, N. Ed.) but he has a different meaning. If
he oppresses or weighs a man down without speaking, it signifies tribulations and distress. But whatever he says upon
interrogation is true. If he gives someone something or sleeps with someone, it foretells great profit, especially if he does not
weigh the person down. Regardless of what he does when he approaches, it signifies that the sick will recover. For he never
associates with a man who is going to die.

Chthonic (underworld, N. Ed.) Hecate (goddess of magic and spells, N. Ed.) the Furies, and the demons in their retinue
signify fears even for those who lead honest lives. But for men who transgress the law and attack others, they mean death. And
the so-called Mother of the gods has the same meaning as these gods. When she is seen by herself, she indicates disturbances
and griefs and she also signifies that secrets will be brought to light. She means good luck for farmers, since she is identified with
the Earth.

Dream Images, Dream Art

Ever since Edison invented the phonograph in an attempt to record spirit
voices or the voices of the dead, people have also thought of recording
dream images directly onto film or videotape (theoretically possible, since
there exist vibrations or brain waves). In the absense of that, I have been
attempting to make collages that approximate "photographic" images of my
dreams. In some cases, they are the feeling or tone of the dream -- the
emotion of the dream. I use magazine pictures because first, they ARE
photographic images and second, I am not a trained artist.

I have only had a computer since November of 2000, and quickly discovered
the scanner and the thumbnail. I have been working sometimes 12 hours a day
or more getting my ideas down, and also typing all my dream notebooks
starting from about 1972 when I was reading Carlos Casteneda, Patricia
Garfield, Ann Faraday, and Carl Jung, etc. I heard Patricia Garfield's
interview on Art Bell's radio show and she mentioned that Carl Jung burned
his dream notebooks before he died (unfortuneately her segment was on Sunday
and Whitley Strieber's portion of the show is not recorded for convenient
later listening).

My inspiration for dream images was Carl Jung, "Man and His Symbols" and
Joseph Campbell, "The Power of Myth." I also wanted to give dreamers a
break from reading -- all our brains feel like they are hurting after
reading and researching for hours!

I will elaborate on a few of the images on the site at
http://sstoth0.tripod.com/dreamimages/.

1. On the page titled, UFO and Hunting Dreams there is a image (bottom
middle column) of an ant man with a woman arm-in-arm on a staircase and Tom
Cruise with a dark haired woman. At the time I made this image, there was
no hint of the problems with Nicole Kidman, but I still wondered why I was
making it. The dream I was illustrating was of an ant-like slender, very
strong man about a head taller than I was, who put his arm around me. Tom
Cruise's suit and dark glasses were very like the ant and I picked a mystery
woman in black and white in a color scene and added them to the image on
impulse.

2. Same page, top right column is to illustrate this dream "A cat in the
car - climbs all over. Put it in a cage with a squirrel and it licks its
ears.
Also a bird in a cage eats $2 worth of food - it's a five day vacation." I
had started sorting dreams and had a category, Warm Fuzzy Animal Dreams.

3. On the page titled Imaginary Friends, image of the bridge on the right,
under the text. The dream this is from: I was on a big bridge like the
Golden Gate Bridge and a woman/I was going to jump -- her boyfriend was down
in the water in a rowboat. In the internet today there was a story about a
man who allegedly killed his client's wife and then faked his death by
jumping from the bridge.

4. Same page. I dream that I wake up in an empty warehouse with a balcony
around it. I'm an adult and am all by myself and start screaming in absolute
horror. Then I notice a rack of clothes near me and some squirrels walking
along the beams and they come down where I can squeeze them. I had this
same experience when I was about two years old and was home by myself and
woke up to an empty house and something like a squirrel came and made me
laugh.

These images are very satisfying for me because they externalize so well
what I see in my dreams. I didn't know if they would have the same effect
on others, since they didn't see the same dream and thus wouldn't be
"familiar" as they are to me. There is no money involved in my art -- I
think as many of us as possible are donating our efforts to the internet.

Chewed up money dreams lately: On February 10, 1980, a boy named Brian
Ingram was digging a fire pit on the shore of the river northwest of
Vancouver, Washington, when he found $5,800 in thrashed $20 bills. The FBI
was soon able to trace the bills to the skyjacking by serial numbers.

3-4 days before -- I dreamed about a revoluntionary in a yellow T-shirt talking on a phone. Taxi
driver Rami told Israel Radio he believed he might have driven the bomber to
the site. He said he picked up an Arab wearing a yellow shirt, who became
increasingly agitated and made repeated telephone calls in Arabic. ``He
spoke with someone and told him he couldn't find the place. After he
finished the conversation he told me to stop at the commercial center near
the Wall Street,'' Rami said. Rami said he became suspicious and
frantically looked for an Israeli police car while trying not to raise his
passenger's suspicions. As the man got out of the car, Rami spotted a
policeman. But it was too late. ``It was maybe five seconds from the second
he got out until the explosion.'' ... Israelis killed Iyad al-Hardan,
another Islamic Jihad activist, in April with a bomb planted in a public
telephone, Palestinian sources said at the time. Hardan was a commander of
the group's military wing. The father gestured at verses from the Koran
hung on the wall of his modest house. ``(Muhammad) always said his friends
were the martyrs. He chose to meet Iyad in paradise. He always wished for
martyrdom,'' he said. (father was crippled, 12 siblings)

I noticed that the other "dreamers" in the online groups try to become lucid
AND THEN fly or do tests such as if you can make something change in the
dream, it is just a projection, but if it won't change it is someone outside
you or some spirit or something. One test they use to "wake up" in the
dream is to try to read something and if it changes the second time you read
it, you're dreaming. BUT I try to wake up for real and write down what I
read (or heard someone say) before I forget it. I noticed one other site so
far, the guy likes to lucid dream and find art and memorize it and then
paint it when he wakes up and he is able to stabilize the dream image until
he can memorize it. It doesn't keep changing. [My dream 8/14/01 Then I'm
at Petsmart sitting on a stool and see a cat walk by -- I mean to say,
there's Tutu the manager's cat because it has chewed up ears, but I hear
"there's Calico" come out of my mouth -- then the cat really does look like
Calico (tail bitten off by the horse) but then the tail reappears.]

Artimedorus states that interpretations given in the dream are to be taken literally and no further interpretation is needed. Dream of 8/17/01 -- dream character tells me the big limestone house I live in means I want to be alone. I jokingly said that maybe I was on the wrong side of the street- in Leuzinger High school, not the apartment.

Albert Taylor states that out-of-body attempts to see the future or the past can result in seeing your future personal meltdown, not the future of the world.

Hi: So, now how do you feel about your dream? A little queasy?

I sure do. This is way too real.

Yesterday morning 8-14-01 I dreamed I was standing in a parking lot at work
(I work for the Dept of Defense at Northrop-Grumman where they build the B2
Stealth Bomber) -- at the Electronics building (Johnson Building), which to
me might symbolize Vietnam because their supervisor is Vietnamese in that
building. Everyone was standing around in the parking lot (even though
that building has been shut down in real life and everything moved to
Rolling Meadows/Chicago area) -- and I could hear a woman talking about a
bombing. Then a very self-effacing sounding African American man with a
Southern accent (Washington DC accent) called a talk show and was trying to
warn about something. Then everyone went back in past the metal detectors
(which they don't have here). I could see the man on the phone in the dream
and he had a thin face, looked like Joe who used to work here. He told me
about a black fear in LA that the Govt will put germs in the aqueduct to the
black areas and accomplish genocide. Perhaps there is a fear in DC right
now that Arab/Muslim forces such as Kadafi, Osama bin Laden, Sadaam Hussein,
and others are planning a takeover of the USA and white genocide -- or
genocide of all Americans. Art Bell mentioned a buildup of Iranian troops,
Egypt announcement, unusual activity in Lebanon and Syria.
Sean David Morton (www.delphiassociates.org) was on Art Bell last Wednesday
(his tape is still available for 30 days to listen to) at www.artbell.com
and he predicted that the Palestinian "suicide" bombers in Jerusalem are
going to graduate to a suitcase bomb and level Jerusalem -- and also
Washington DC. He doesn't see Bush surviving his term. He's got the 20
year curse against him. But he's not "going alone" -- everyone around him
will die at the same time, possibly another suitcase bomb and the alternate
capital will be moved to Denver.
This is very possible -- nuclear bombs don't have to be dropped from planes
-- just from a certain height. They tested them at White Sands from
dropping them from a small tower. I visited their museum and saw the
pictures.

Hi all:

I know this is not what this list is for, but I woke up really worried about

this dream this morning, and wonder if any of you dreamers have had anything

similar:

8-15-01

In my dream, I was in a public building, but it was set up
like a meeting room. One alcove of the room was beautiful, with pink walls,
and tall blooming trees in the center, and a large lamp in one corner.

A woman told me she didn't like the way it looked. She said, "It looks
TOO MUCH LIKE HAWAII!!!"

I told her I could rearrange the trees and lamps and it would look better.
I started moving the lamps first. There was an old man standing in the
way and he was talking about a short in the electricity. There were about
12 lamp cords all plugged into one outlet from a lamp he had on a small
table.

I helped the old man sit down in a chair while I fixed things.

I started to wake up and had a vision that said, LAND AND FLEET VEHICLE 598.

End of dream

When I searched the internet to see if there was such a thing, I found this:

dtic.mil/execsec/adr96/chapt_18.html>

Army and Marine Corps vehicles and forces needed and how they operate.

Would Hawaii represent PEARL HARBOR?

Remember how we were pulled into the war through FDR's secret meetings
behind the scenes and he kept them hidden from us, and then we were
forced to go to war because of PEARL HARBOR.

Is this going on with Israel, or is something worse going on?

I'm really worried. Any matching dreams out there?

Dee, I got dizzy when I opened up your Karma message to read today and read the first sentence about the laundry!!!! Steve couldn't believe it either...

My eyes were so tired they were blurry last night (for the first/worst time, I hope I am not developing some problem). So I didn't read your message before I went to sleep--even though "Amazing Randi" would not believe that.... I bolded some of the correspondences so that you can find them easier--you must be swamped with mail. I don't know how you do it. I edited out part of the dream that didn't seem significant to yours, I hope I didn't take out the wrong part-- I was worried that I was buying a trailer or house in N CA (after I retire soon I hope) and it was falling apart, but the women from work seemed very pleased with it.

You can see my attempt this morning to interpret the "laundry" as shirts and skins because the laundry was shirts that were folded like from a dry cleaner and the bedding was in a big pile--and men usually sleep naked. Some of the sheets had only been on for two days on my bed so I removed them from the pile. Also, the dream had DELO and I thought, is that Dee, then thought, NO, IMPOSSIBLE. My dreams seem to do things like that a lot--the impossible or stress things I don't think are important and almost leave out. so now I watch anything I think "Isn't important." It's not easy.

Also I read about the APEC meeting starting tomorrow (Monday) in China--that they have the 3rd tallest building in Shanghai.

"Chinese authorities are most concerned about Muslim separatists waging a sometimes violent campaign in Xinjiang, even though the region is about 1,860 miles from Shanghai in the far west.
Last week China said it had evidence the separatists had links with international terrorist groups.
Xu shrugged off a warning last week by Osama bin Laden al Qaeda network not to ``ride planes or live in tall buildings.''
``He didn't say don't take a flight to Shanghai or stay in high rises in this city,'' said Xu, whose metropolis boasts the world's third tallest building.

KARMA IN THE BIBLE
THE DREAM OF KARMA VS THE BIBLE compiled by Dee Finney
10-13-2001 - THE DREAM I was in someone's garage, gathering the laundry to be done. There was so much, I was running out of baskets and containers to put it in....toilet paper got on toy rabbit. "Coolxauhqui" (adorned with bells), the sister/moon corresponds to Kali. She was defeated by her brother 'Huitzilopochtli" (Hummingbird-on-the left), the sun-god son of the "sweeping' woman, and dismembered.

10/14/01 2 of pentacles (change).

1245AM ... Voice says, "Places in History such as Kasizikistan (corn is the main starch based food eaten in Afghanistan I saw on the news--oxen grinding their harvest) where the path gets wider (and flatter/easier to walk)--money to maintain."

430AM Dream still discussing over and
over the incident of germ warfare in Tibet--wiped out 1 of 3 people in the dream (in real life it was Pol Pot in Cambodia and layoffs in the 80s US). It is a disease of women....women are targeted....dogs slaughtered. "At first he clarified the problem to his wife, Delo." Vivid picture of a large green plastic fish with pink spots. A disease of intellectuals--voice says loudly, "I Can Road." The bombing of the kiosks (bazaars)..... Tibetan women marrying Chinese men. (Chinese policy to take control in Tibet and now traditionally and now with liberalization also the Tibetan men all want to be Monks....) "3074" They're sending you to a 2-hour thing. "....Bush said on the other network (anarchy)." I hear Tom Brocaw say, "the people are thin." Flying for revenge (flying dragons or China). "The first 5000 year old people that have traveled here. Sound of a tractor or bulldozer plowing the forests. Brothers and close friends driven out (Tibet) with sticks. Italian woman's voice, "Contrast, I don't want to see it." Email--I want you to know every step I've taken, every thing I've broken.

A voice says the truth (about living in the country)--is that it is a long walk to school. Before that I was walking along a paved path with Pat and it is twilight, we are walking home from work and live nearby--I say, what am I going to do after you leave/retire? She?someone put a pile of laundry--folded shirts and big pile of sheets (skins?) on the floor in the hall and I put them in the washer in the basement and then keep waking up in the dream because I forgot to put them in the dryer. My report in the dream was how the war was going. There are 3 scenarios and two are together on the right is all I can see--they are small pictures far away. Then a voice says, "it would seem to any trained guerillas that you got the scorpion washed out (of the burrow)." I say, "One day." And then a voice says, "In one day I saw what Central Asia can be like." The computer connections in the trailer are different also, but I can't afford to live in the city..... I pick a beautiful crystal ball hanging on a bush--think it's a seed but it looks like a spider egg sack with one baby and white silk around it. Voice, "I've never heard of sick coming here and getting well." "Patience, Love and Attention." Cher talks and I see a short scene in black and white--"there's nothing like a cure for cancer, don't you think?" Then it winks out. A voice says they're too frightened to start, take them and do stuff--they're
sitting on their baggage. Voice says, "Bill Bart or Bartley." Voice says,
"you've been sent to sit at the front of an ancient city "Talbot". I say,
"Wow, this is the 2nd time in this dream..." A girl sits with a guy in a booth--her grandfather sent her here and they.... Sometimes an employee mocks--such as the above--says "one year and 328 days." From a great height... They sit together begging (with cups). Man in charge of all the religious shrines in the country looking for someone to replace himself so he can leave. "1896" Plane takes off, DOD sounding voice says, "Last stand for Sudivia."

1130AM
Colonel is driving, I'm in the backseat and a girl is in the front
passenger--she is driving to Dodson's house it looks like (or Bert Dodson's)
on the lower road to Van Meter off Highway 6 from Des Moines, past
Booneville. I look out the window, it's east of Booneville where Mom said
rich people are building fancy houses and see a house built onto an ancient
house that looks like weathered wood boards and the old part looks like a 20
foot diameter ancient tree.... Then farther on a house with a
thatched straw roof like in Ireland (that last for decades) and then finally
a house made of white bleached driftwood poles with gaps between them. I
say, "house of sticks, straw... must be the 3 Little Pigs. The girl is not
amused and I shut up. When she turns off Highway 6, a tiny hummingbird
flies in the (right) window and goes down the collar of my coat and impales my neck
with it's sharp beak. I try to reach up and catch it, but it digs in with
it's claws. I yell, "stop" and jump out and take off my coat and try to
shake it out. The bird crawls up on my head-- I can see myself-- and is a
very large
yellow parachete. I grab it and it feels very well-fed, must have just
escaped and has not caught any diseases like Mom said from wild birds. This
is the 2nd time this has happened! The first time was when I
was 4 and I say this time I'm keeping the bird and get back in the car. I
say I'll name it Pretty Boy like the bird I used to have, but there is a
silence so I decide to name it Tweetie. It has changed into a Cockatiel
with yellow feathers and a blue face--very soft emu type feathers that the
girl is holding. A big white guinea pig is now in my arms, there are two of
these too. I have to find cages for all of them when we get home. I look
out the window again and we're passing a washed out area by a river and
someone has printed a message on the wall--about going for my interview but
the guy had been running the company for 66 years (and died) and he thought
he'd try running it himself. The word MY is very large out on a steep part
of the hillside. In Dad's living room is a very large cage with very small
animals--a house fly (same size)lands beside them for conparison. they are
climbing hills and branches in the cage. I go up to the attic (Mom's house)
and there are several women with a whole wall of cages and I say it is
turning into a "Pet Store". I think it will be cruel to keep the 2 guinea
pigs apart and a voice says they have 70 babies at a time. That gives me
pause. There is a house finch too and I look at it--tiny, very bedraggled
white feathers. Then it turns into a red and white striped bird I thought I
saw on TV (deja vu) that is a bird/fish. It fans out it's "feathers"--there
are some blue, yellow and red bird/fish. The large white stripe would
have to be a mockingbird. I finally put the guinea pig into a box and say
they're vegetarians (I was reading a book about them at the Torrance
Hardback Friends of the Library sale yesterday in real life, but put the
book back because of a dream in 1999 that I would put it back. there
was also a book about rabbits and the manager, Shayma is there with her
rabbits in the dream but their eyes are open like baby guinea pigs.] A man helps
me clean a box and it has no bottom, so the guinea pig can walk on the
ground and maybe dig out. But he has nowhere to go unless he can get into
the female's cage. I mention to the Colonel that he has cleaned the box
remarkably and get a good look at him and he says he's not usually noticed.
I close the lid and the guinea pig leaps up in the air out of the box.
Earlier in the dream I was butchering some animal like the dogs in Vietnam
in the Tirzani travel book. They eat guinea pigs in Peru. [Luc Ethier...wife Mary Jane Vitos in an undated file photo, was killed instantly when a lone gunman shot him before shooting his wife as they strolled through a market in Kuwait on Wednesday evening. Philippines Ambassador stated.... --Italian voice in the dream was Mary Jane Turner, my old boss at Looking Glass Preschool.]
